I lost what I was responding to to clarify. It probably was the correct, intended, use. This is not a Democratic society. That's silly. It is a Capitalist Society. A representative republic at best. Why does a "candidate" have to have so much money in order to even run? That's not democracy!
I stand by my word analysis. Doesn’t matter. It’s the best we have right now…or at least, before this current regime. Democrats were asleep at the wheel when Citizens United passed. But if we want to make things better, we have to be visible and get people to understand all they are losing.
I do believe I used it in response to *repetitive* thanks for working. Words they used up to end labor wars. Slaves are traditionally provided housing and meals. Americans sign up to work for another's profit without that promise. Hoping to finally buy their freedom at age 70.
I'm not sure what you mean by "thanks for working." But back to the point: what do you suggest doing besides pushing to overturn this regime? Creating awareness about paid leave, sick days, paid holidays, the labor movement, and safety in the workplace laws seems like a good idea, no?
Let me preface this by saying that I am not the most tactful person. I am currently reading "The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible" by Charles Eisenstein. He is better at saying the same thing we all know intuitively, but with patience. I say, we stop paying our master's interest.
Democrats are Capitalists, too. Student loans were made unforgivable under Clinton. I went to google other significant financial bullshit and stopped. Newsom clears homeless camps. When practical stops makes making practical sense -- it might be time to do something else?

Legit -- I am working at unpacking this myself. I KNOW the world feels frustrating. Has for some time. I can see how things are not working on a large scale. So can everybody, that's why we're all so angry! The VA cut our income. Daughter's college. We're trying something ELSE, now.
