Texas will require all public school classrooms to display the Ten Commandments under a new law that will make the state the nation’s largest to attempt to impose such a mandate. religionnews.com/2025/06/23/n...

Setting aside the unConstitutionality of this requirement, the 10 commandments are also unChristian. They predate Christianity. If Texas wants to promote Christianity in school, they should display the beatitudes.

Cool, now we have the green light to talk openly about how the first commandment in fact presupposes henotheism if you don't speed read over the text. It doesn't actually say there are no other gods, just that God doesn't want any others in front of him (in the temple).

Looking forward to seeing the 7 tenets of The Satanic Temple in every classroom next to the 10 commandments.
