God gave us the plants. Every herb and seed baring plant for us to use. Magic mushrooms actually helped me reconnect with God after many years of being mad at Him. Its helped me connect with others, reduce anxiety, chronic pain, treat my depression. Its less harmful for you than alcohol. Jesus drank

Christians just like to judge each other and anyone they perceive as not like them. They are so busy worrying about everyone else and their habits and substances because that allows them to not self reflect on how they treat others and act.

God commands us to love not judge. To forgive not shun. The church is upside down.

God told us to love one another and forgive one another not judge and shun each other. I find it ironic when Christians who drink or take psych drugs get upset about people using mushrooms. It's hypocritical and shameful.

Many Christians still have this same view of marijuana which is great for my pain and way better than using opioids. I've lost three former friends to opioids and heroin after they couldn't get pills anymore. When you have chronic pain or mental health issues plant medicine is the best medicine.

Took LSD repeatedly, met God. Saw the web of life. Changed my perspective forever.

Other communities have used psychedelics in spiritual experiences since the dawn of time. This is truly absurd. If we think substances should be inherently immoral, what about alcohol, prescription drugs, caffeine? And the research around mental health and psychedelics continues to grow.

Yeah, it's dangerous to teach people that drug-induced hallucinations are actually messages from above.

So God can't speak through the mushrooms? Fasting, rituals, all sorts of other things but mushrooms nah.

Totally fair point. Thinking God is talking to you through any of those other things is equally ridiculous.
