Supposedly: 1st generation (benadryl) makes you "unsafe to run heavy machinery." For some reason they refuse to even sell 1st gen here in NL :( 2nd generation: stuff like loratadine and cetirizine. Because they're more targeted, supposed to have fewer/lower side effects. But per person it ranges :(

I tried desloratadine recently. It's the 3rd gen but still made me drowsy😮💨
