Who would you want then? Who wouldn’t be underwhelming? And remember as a newly promoted club, we can’t have first dibs on anyone.
Like you, I have zero knowledge what the budget is and who is available/interested in playing for #lufc in the EPL. That doesn't prevent me from expressing an opinion on players we have brought in or plan to. He's underwhelming at this stage of the window when we clearly need more oomph up top.

I don't have to see him play for us before commenting. I've seen him play for other clubs. He has scored a few eye-catching goals since breaking through at Brighton (no doubt a lovely highlights reel) but struggled for game time last season at one of the EPL's worst ever clubs. Underwhelming.
