When I was an angry teen, heavy metal, punk, and industrial were what I listened to in order to get to sleep. It's like I handed my anger to them for a while. "I can't sleep because I'm so pent up and tense and wild from hormones! Here, Metallica, vent that for me. Ah, muhc better. "

hell yeah!! Every band you listed was in My (or My Sister's) CD case too. (& on My Limewire & Mix CDs, don't tell Metallica!!! 'Twas the era...) Music connects across all boundaries. I've been in circles as the only English speaker of 10+ & everybody understood when I started drumming. Rock on!!
