‘Imagine’ and its pro-communist messaging wasn’t even ‘coded’. Lyrics like “Imagine no possessions” and “Imagine there’s no countries” hint at a world without borders or private ownership. “Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds” “Working Class Hero” “Give Peace a Chance” Ummmm #bullshit is right.
