There is always the feminist and the anti-feminist, the embrace of white feminine beauty, the rejection of it, all must be moms, dominating the most familiar role for women. Poised to be seen in contrast, a way to integrate women in the body politic without questioning the body politic itself.

On behalf of the patriarchy, I apologize for the maze of role, identity, and code switching women, minorities, and all non-white males have to navigate every day and moment. In my life I haven’t had to ponder how I position myself close to this much. As Taylor says, “fuck the patriarchy”.

i'm actually of the view that men suffer, too, especially if they don't look, walk, talk or act "manly." (or do pushups and other weight-lifting, evidently?)

It’s true we have our own issues. The male identity crisis is real. I’ve spent too much of my life making myself feel crappy because I don’t look like one of the Chris’s. And these video game playing basement dwellers need help. And it has led to lots of MAGA dudes. But don’t feel too bad for us.
