Correct, before 2027. I was thinking of the election, not inauguration. Been in a freefall since November 2024.

Jan 21, 2027. A VP has to have less than 2 years remaining in the their term and cannot serve as President more than 10 years total. So 1 year, 364 days of rising to President plus two potential elected terms. One day shy of 10 years.
