The rot goes a lot deeper than pleasing trump at FIFA. Just look at the last world cup!
Also: FIFA did not consult the European Clubs Association, who partnered with FIFA to commercialize the Club World Cup, on their campaigns for the tournament & FIFPro (who represent players) were not informed of changes. www.nytimes.com/athletic/643...
