I grew up reading about Iran/contra and while I can appreciate the point you're trying to make I think maybe you're missing mine. Not all boomers is great but I'm not failing to see the progress just because I'm not forgiving the complacency of the whole for the past.

I'm not debating that there have been persistent efforts at all. I'm intimately aware of them as the offspring not only of a disabled Vietnam vet that struggled with many things connected to his service but specifically the exposure to agent orange, which led to physical disabilities in myself.
