Healthcare workers—broadly defined—are far too underappreciated. Fewer people are choosing these vital career paths, and those who do are often overworked and underpaid. On top of that, they now face an onslaught of misinformation that makes their jobs even harder.

The daily battle against misinformation is rapidy becoming the most difficult part of my work. Thank you for stating it so succinctly.

I read about a patient who refused needed surgery during COVID peak because a vaccine was required (I don’t know the outcome for that patient). This is insane and RFK and HHS are leaders of health disinformation.

That happens often. People refuse treatment if it requires vaccines. I watched a lot of people die who refused vaccination. Folks with serious medical diagnoses refuse to protect themselves. It is heartbreaking.
