This is a very enlightening article.
This is a very enlightening article.
he is willing to sell out the country as long as it satisfies his ego. it's almost instant. nothing else.
📌Saving for future reference.
"If" he will sell? trump doesn't buy, he ONLY sells.
Helen Keller could have told you it’s going to be bad. And she’s dead.
Let me save you some time. Yes, trump will make whatever 💰 he can from China, whether legally or not. That is all.
💯 anyway to pin/save this post ?
Rich people really don’t want to be poor, so they’re selling their souls.
I think I know what's coming
Will the tariffs happen?
they are daring him so yea probably
Too late. Elon and Saudis already own America.
Has the US borrowed huge $$ from China and buy Chinese manufactured goods? China probably needs the US to be fairly robust.
Robust and powerful are two different things.
Yep.
The positive thing about that is that the USA will be sold at Chinese price with discount. Which brings the value of USA to about the one of Yemen or Sudan. Call it a deal.

Names on street signs are changed?
I’m sorry but it lost me when it stated that “climate change is mostly being caused by other countries”.
I kept going and it made me even more angry.
Yeah I regret reading that shit… Cuban WTF dude?
I see where you're coming from on this. I understand. Of course, climate change is critically important, and I don't think the author was disputing that. There must be a clearly defined hierarchy of priorities when discussing world events when discussing solutions.
I don't believe it was negating the impact of carbon emission by the U.S. Out of the top 10 biggest carbon emitting countries, the U.S. (which is ranked #2) emits 6 bn tons of CO2 compared the 29 bn tons by the other nine, collectively.
China's threat to the U.S. (and the rest of the world) is more immediate than that posed by climate change. That's how I interpreted that article: An author using comparisons to emphasize the need for a greater sense of urgency in addressing the threat of China compared to other critical issues.
In that case, I agree with the article. Given that China could defeat the United States militarily and crush us economically inside of one year if they fully committed themselves to that goal, China is a more immediate issue in the short term.
I disagree with this assessment. Ever buy cheap Chinese knock-off stuff from DH Gate? That's the quality of their military equipment. The volume of bodies they have is massive. But there's no way they would beat us in under a year. I don't even think they'd beat us.
1000% and they have Russia as a back up this is not ending well for anyone in the US
Russia is getting their shit pushed in by a country 1/100th of their size. And they're quite busy w that at the moment.
If Russia could help anyone they would've helped Syria. Russia is cooked.
It is now about 5 decades, USA got it cheap moving production to China. Now it is the pay time.
And no I don’t agree that China could defeat us militarily. They could definitely screw with our economy though in terrible ways!
Fair enough but then why mention climate change at all? It makes the author sound excessively dismissive.
I’m not at all sure China could defeat the US, much less the whole free world. No one knows what that war would look like
Notice how there's always a more "immediate" threat than climate change? We will deprioritize ourselves into an uninhabitable Earth.
"Climate change is a threat, but it’s mostly being caused by other countries,.." Can't get much dumber than that
I saw it as "Trump is President for the next four years; there's nothing we can do about it. Let's look at the most immediate threats to the United States (and the world) in that time frame and see what surviving Trump (or not) looks like."
Just when it was getting good, article says we've had ten years to get used to Tr*mp. Ten??? Plus thirty years for me! People not knowing what's going on is getting old, real fast. Guy who pushed article, owns many, many things. What a country, can't nip disinfo.
If Trump can personally profit...he will sell America out to anyone. He has done it already.
That’s a given.
Thanks for the referral. Something many wouldn’t be following.
As a small businessman doing small business with China, I find the Chinese friendly and good to do business with. Real people. The Government? Just like ours.
US treasury should just pay Trump off, it will cost less and do less damage in the end than all the bribes he is getting from foreign countries and billionaires.
I think hoping that the TOP 0.1% of the population is going to do the interest of the 99.9% of the population is a fallacy. People need to organise, join local communities, stop using credit cards, buy local and create local support networks.
People are not going to stop using credit cards. Any time you discuss solutions, and one of them requires ceasing a behavior ingrained in society for the last four decades...it's best to drop that change from your list. Unfortunately, the same applies to buying local.
Depends, if we can explain the consequences and educate people change is possible. People used asbestos extensively until it was understood how dangerous it was. By buying local we empower our local communities and make them more resilient, while slowly degrading the grip of big corporations.
I read this and it certainly sounds like TFG can put china in a strong position against our interests if he frees up the trade restrictions president Biden implemented. Can hurt our technology manufacturing strides. And it sounds like he holds the “off” button which makes it even scarier!
