I disagree. Merchan has displayed more courage than most. If Trump is sentenced with no punishment, so be it. He will still be a convicted felon who will have the ability to appoint judges. Makes for some interesting debate in confirmation hearings. “Do you agree with Judge Merchan’s decision”?
