Agree. If this is true...it’s cowardice at the highest level. The job isn’t to tiptoe around fascists…it’s to crush them before they crush us. And Garland? Yeah…that pick was a wet blanket when we needed a hammer. No wonder people are pissed...we expected fighters...not caretakers. #Newsom

We’ve heard the Big Lie. We’ve witnessed January 6. Now we watch tanks roll into blue cities. How many times must the clown warn us before we stop laughing? 👉 noshortcutstonow.substack.com/p/field-note...

Bullshit. The first thing Jack Smith should have done was change venue. If Garland hadn’t waited a year and a half to appoint a special prosecutor we might not be in this situation. You think republicans would have twiddled their thumbs instead of swiftly applying justice?

Biden was a great president, the best in my lifetime. But as soon as someone comes up with crazy conspiracy theories (probably from the Kremlin), you are ready to throw him under the bus. Not me. Garland & Jack Smith tried their best, the Supreme Court is to blame for creating this mess.

Biden had ONE JOB: Protect America from the insurrectionist who just tried to sack the Capitol to install himself in power. He completely failed. He was as egotistical as Trump in his own way, sure that he could magically restore normalcy and refusing to accept it when he started to decline.

Either that or he was complicit all along. That’s what I’ve come to think may be the most likely scenario. Sad as it seems.

Fight the fascists and stop smearing & blaming those who fought so hard for us. Voters stayed home because they could not bring themselves to vote for a woman. And now here you are, hurting the democrats and blaming them. Fascism is here because of IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR TRUMP.

Baloney. They did nothing. He incited an insurrection and stole classified documents and he was allowed to walk. They fought nothing. I still will not ever vote for a republican but our democratic leadership is impotent and we need something new. Most of them cower and clutch their pearls. Enough!

A woman who refused to separate herself from the genocide enabling administration. I don’t think her being female was what kept her from being elected. It was the genocide and abandoning half the voting base of progressive voters.

That wasn't her choice, Biden, the egomaniac, demanded "no daylight" between them, because in his head he was being attacked for no reason, and forced to give up what would have been a winning campaign, so she was only to act as his proxy, nothing more. Or else.

I think it really shows his arrogance and subconscious racism and misogyny. He would never have dared say that to another white man. "Hey, I'm stepping down and you're taking over for me, so that means you have to do everything I say. No daylight, kid." To a middle-aged former senator.

I hope she runs again, her OWN campaign with no master telling her what she's allowed to say and do. I hope she gets the FULL amount of time to campaign, not a couple months. She and Walz had momentum and I'm not even fully convinced that they actually lost.

It was up to us to vote for Kamala. It's not his fault that we didn't. Both warned us many times. People still didn't vote. Now it's his fault? It's not Mcconell's fault for failing to impeach? It's not the Supreme court for giving him power? It's not the GOP for doing what trump wants? Come on!

He did not blame the voters. As a matter of fact he was interviewed on “The View” and stated that he felt responsible. But not because of the stupid conspiracy theories in the article. This is propaganda and trying to further split Democrats. Thanks to you it’s working.

The system was not designed to respond to an insurrection by letting the insurrectionist run for office again and putting it to the voters. That was a catastrophically stupid and unethical choice by Biden, ignoring the law and all historical precedent from everywhere else in the world.

The Kremlin probably loved Biden. He wouldn't let Ukraine attack within Russia, didn't give them enough to win the war, and did nothing at all to stop Putin's American puppet, who had staged an insurrection and in any rational country would have been rounded up on January 20th as Biden's first act.

The Kremlin is a real place, ruled by a real person with specific goals and methods. It can't be just whatever makes you unhappy. Biden was objectively good for Putin's interests because he didn't do anything to Putin's puppet, and allowed him to run again, so Putin can continue his war.

Actually, examining the mistakes that led to this situation is very important for getting out of it. Thinking that the way you solve a problem is to ignore the past, consider today the first day ever, and move on, is part of what got us here.

Trump was impeached right after the insurrection. Mcconell was senate majority leader & voted no on impeachment, republicans voted no instead of doing their job, they chickened out. You cannot blame Biden on that. It was catastrophically stupid and unethical choice BY THE MAJORITY REPUBLICAN SENATE

Yeah, choosing to let the people who had participated in the insurrection handle the impeachment was another stupid choice. This wasn't just another high crime and misdemeanor like all the other ones Pelosi looked the other way on. This was insurrection. A disqualifying crime on its own.

*states in confusion*...it was tried? Aileen Cannon froze it out until she could kill it? Like it was filled in Palm Beach County. A normal judge would have completed the case before the campaign, and likely would have been open to pretrial detainment.
