Taking a guy that’s played 9 snaps because you landed him in HS makes no sense to me.

His dad played with Brohm at Louisville. That’s the apparent reasoning for adding a guy who couldn’t get on the field elsewhere.
Do you know anything about the new DB, Agu? Thanks.
Only things i can think of is that we REALLY need depth there. And maybe PJ Fleck is just ass at developing WR? (Made a resolution to try and be more optimistic)
It’s completely possible it works out. It just doesn’t make sense on the surface. Either develop the guys you had with the same profile or go get a guy that’s been productive in their first year or two. At least you have game film to evaluate. Just my view on it.
They may know they’re out on guys who are better?
They probably know the potential after watching him when they were at Purdue. Sometimes a person just doesn't click with their team when they go to college. I suspect this is one of those 'we'll roll the dice and see what happens' moments. This staff has done a good job coaching up people.
Why not just coach up the guys you had then?
We've lost 3 WRs to the portal. Brohm rarely starts true freshmen. We have a few people who shot their shot with Louisville for a season that are going elsewhere, so we are replacing one of those slots.
They’ve lost 3 guys that were here for two years. They didn’t develop. This guy spent two years at a school and didn’t develop. It doesn’t make sense on the surface. It could work but it would be very surprising if it does.
