OHIP was going to fly us to Cincinnati and put us up for the duration when it looked like there wasn’t an opening in paediatric cardiology; it didn’t happen but it was nice to have the option.

Mine was for cataract surgery because of how specialized it is; not every town can have someone who knows how.

did I like having to choose 1 of 2 coastal cities to travel to for the cancer care that saved my life? no was I mad when I learned my "insurance" didn't have to pay because there was no doctor in NM, AZ or TX who would work on me? you bet do I like living in a low cost low population place? yes
