The US could do that. But then TurboTax and the like would be big angy cuz they spent all that money bribing lawmakers and didn’t get their way

I remember suggesting it to a friend and he said "well if you did that my mum and thousands of people would lose their jobs as tax agents" And... Like... Sorry but a lot of people that make horseshoes lost their jobs in the name of progress.
