Pretty sure he is going to replace the ones he fires with one of his followers. Maybe a 20 year old? J6? DOGE cost way more than they saved. If they saved anything… BTW shocked at how little money a GS 15 makes! They’re clearly not doing it for the money… Same with ESs. Those portfolios are heavy!
I was once a GS 13. Made FAR less than my peers in private practice. Money is NOT why professionals go into public service.
I sort of knew that and did made that point a while back when 45 said old hippies don’t belong in DC… but even comparing with similar roles in Canada the pay is low The private sector would pay someone millions to manage those portfolios. And lives don’t hang on the balance for a Disney CEO 🤯
