80s and 90s. I'll expand my range.
That is just a fact.

Huge G’n’R fan. Huge Nirvana fan. Still think rock basically died in the few month span when John Lennon was shot and John Bonham did too many shots.

About the fact it was released in the 80s, or the fact 90s wasn’t the best era for music? 😆
I didn't appreciate 90's rock until my son got Guitar Hero and started playing it to that intricate guitar music. Not much like it before or since, but I'll always favor 60's rock.
1970s was a great decade for music
Oh dear God
The 90s was somehow my lost musical decade
The amount of pride I felt when mine discovered Led Zepplin, AC/DC and Billy Squire 😂 (+ Waited patiently for the Clash to show up on the playlist )
😫
Don’t let Tom Nichols anywhere near this string.
Dooooo it
If you mark your decades in numbers that end in '5', it all makes more sense.
Yes. 90s rock? Be serious.
More grunge and alt rock.
Kids' kids these days.
The Clash enters the chat 🙃
Gnome sane?!
Wait? 90’s? Wrong on the face of it. Appetite for Destruction came out mid-80’s. And fwiw, punk was better!
We have enough strife going on. No generational music wars today 😬🤣
😂
That was an 80’s song. Just saying…
I started listening to music in the 80s on the radio. Thought that was the best there was. Radio kinda got stuck. The station I listened to back then still plays a lot of the same stuff. It's old and tired. 1/
Then we had kids and a new world was opened to me. Discovered the Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Green Day, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, and MCR, among others. 2/
Then realized that much of the best music doesn't ever make it to the radio. Found great songs like the Wall by Springsteen or his guitar duet with Tom Morello in the Ghost of Tom Joad. 3/
Hard to say what's best. Each person will have different ideas. You could play Irish folk punk all day and never listen to the same song. 4/4
Nothing holds a candle to the ‘70’s.
It's a terrible take. Let him have it...
That was the one GnR song I truly hated.
Bless their heart 😁
Who's Next was what, 1993?
Led Zeppelin has entered the chat.
1988
Only when built on the 60s/70s foundation.
60-70’s environmental activism, war protests, human rights drove the artists of their time.
I'll take sixties and seventies... The Dead. Motown, CSNY, Joni, Joan Baez, the list goes on!
I was lucky enough to be 12 years old in 1974 so I have been lucky to see a lot of rock. That’s funny thank you for the smile this morning.
😂
Best dance music for sure. Wasn't listening to 'guitars' much back then
1965-1975 was the golden age of rock music.
just finished watching the excellent "The Immediate Family" documentary about the legends of sessions... so damn good
