To rebuild is not the point. The opportunity is to reinvent all the pieces that Donnie and the DOGErs have broken. Would you rebuild the monuments of the Romans today? Would you want to live in rock buildings with open toilets? Of couse not - we can do better.

Tomorrow CEOs will join him to tout investments they are supposedly making in the US bc of Trump. BS — the investments were a long time in the making like one pharma’s $55B. Totally predates Trump. A pharma does not decide on $55B in a few months — takes years.
I would say "will be impossible to rebuild". Because the expectation has become that what the Republicans break, the Democrats try to fix, and the Republicans break again. The Democratic "bleatership" has more or less submitted, and are more concerned with their book tours than their constitutents.
The system is, in my opinion, irreparable, because there are indeed people on both sides who benefit from the broken system. Trump and his cronies on one side. People like Schumer and Jeffries, whining babies about how people are being mean to them for not offering stronger opposition, on the other.

Great list. FWIW HHS employees RFK said shouldn't have been cut have not been rehired. He said only DEI and support staff, but thousands of scientists who write guidelines providers use to treat patients remain cut heading up to the 6/1 finalization deadline. By law, that work can't go elsewhere.
