The Bezos Post is a right-wing RAG devoted to SHILLING FOR TRUMP.

Jeff Bezos who owns the Washington Post, should burn in hell. The billionaires now control the flow of information. Real journalism in this country is for the most part, dead.

We should give a shout out to Davidson's courage. It's easy to insist on principles but not easy to do so when you have a career, salary, colleagues, kids in school, mortgage payments.... I hope he finds a good next role and/or his partner can support the family. More power to him. And f*ck Bezos!

Sad to see this storied newspaper going down this path. I still subscribe because I value the news but have stopped reading the opinion section because it feels like it is an untrustworthy brainwashing exercise.

Doesn't shock me at all. Every time I submit an op-ed on Palestine it gets shot down. I'm trying right now with the UC ban on student governments boycotting Israel, but no one will touch it. I was attacked at UCLA during the mob assault on the encampment, I covered everything, yet I get told F off

Considering that Jeff Bezos ownes and controls The Washington Post now, this is not surprising. Turning away from Bezos’ business endeavors is the best thing most of us can do. Boycotting by wallet is very effective in the marketplace, and in journalism.

Free speech is no longer free, extremely costly as one's livelihood. It wasn't stolen in most cases but willingly given up out of fear, caving, not fighting but laying flat to be run over by the fascists who've been handed the reins for more money and no will to support the Constitution or good guys.

And this is exactly why every subscriber to WAPO should cancel their subscription. Making Bezos richer is not conducive to the success of the paper. Maybe he should sell the paper to someone who believes in the First Amendment and freedom of the press.

This would be very troubling if WaPo were still relevant as an information source. It’s not, it’s a billionaires vanity project and it’s viewed as such outside the mass media bubble.

This is no doubt the result of Bezos. He bought it to shut it up. Like FOX did to CNN & Musk did with Twitter. They have ruined American News & made us as a people worse off. Worst wishes to them.
