I went to nursing school, so I was trained on contamination prevention. So clean to dirty. Prep a working area ahead of time. Maintain a sterile field as you work—a mistake or accident negates sterility and you start over.

So like, when you're at home with the wound, it's like "Clean the area you're going to do the dressing, clean yourself, make sure to only use fresh-out-of-wrappers bandages" etc.?
