Yeah pretty much. It wasn’t BAD but when I think of Metroid music, not a single track of it comes to mind. Meanwhile super Metroid and Metroid prime has some bangers on it.

When the remaster came out I played it for the first time since it was released. I quickly remembered why it is loved so fondly.
