I have been poking my head into Hollow Knight. Weird, since I hate platforming or at least uneven platforming and I am not the right person to judge that. The game is very good with its platforming and the movement is encouraged during combat which is why it works so well.
On the past I only got as far as Hornet 2, so I should reserve judgement or at least be forgiving of the flaws as I don't have the full picture. From what I have seen it has a great atmospheric feel throughout the game and the challenge makes sense along with the slightly floaty combat
