We need assholes in this war. Macarthur won significant battles in Japan and Korea. Would I want him as president? Hell, no! I still chafe at some of the comments he made as mayor of SF.

Newsom may be in this very same mode, but I want to win this war and make sure that we CAN vote for a president in 2028. Do I hope that there are better Dem candidates than him? Fuck yes! but I will vote for him if the alternative is another MAGA admin. I cannot sacrifice the good for the perfect.

If the choice is between Newsom and another MAGA admin, sure. That choice is in *THREE YEARS*. Why is everyone so intent on whitewashing all of Newsom's MANY problems and settling for him when we have YEARS to find a better candidate?

Fair enough. I haven't forgotten his flaws as much as I am supporting him now in this fight. Definitely not whitewashing. I believe that there more people out there that can walk and chew gum at the same time, but we shall see. Praying hard for that!
