They did go through it. They are going through it. I am from the south. I have family generations in the south. Friends with generations in the south. We are all POC. We did and are going through it! Know this, Republicans won those states and they are doing the things they need to stay in power.

Sad to hear for those going thru it.But until plurality chooses otherwise, it’s going to con’t. I lived in the south for 3 yrs, and I can’t remember how many times I had conversations that felt like the mass mindset (not powerful people) made decisions to their own detriment.
Unless u live in the south- it’s tough for ppl to comprehend. I’ve had so many disagreements w blue state dems that are so stuck in their bubble and just clueless
This is true also. Perspective and nuances can be learned by living in very different communities.
