You’re talking about immigrant/migrant labor pay & benefits in Alabama in response to Alabama farmers talking about their issue being not having any labor at all. That’s because the federal government decimated their workforce. How would talking about better pay & benefits go if your those farmers?
I have no idea what you’re talking about with Texas. Minority turnout in Alabama has been falling and if I recall correctly, conducted elections with an illegal gerrymander & a variety of turn-out suppression. Pushing back on the gerrymander of TX by fighting fire with fire is the same fight.
