This episode also may comfort people upset about Poilievre’s return that it could very likely be short-lived. As expected, Poilievre is not drawing the necessary lessons from last week’s loss and there is a quiet revolution among conservatives, to replace him.

A few weeks ago Hebert memorably described Poilievre as ‘campaigning to be leader of the opposition’.

This episode also illuminated for me why Chantal dislikes the NDP so much. She attended the convention once and they were very disrespectful of Québec. I have been telling friends in the party this, for ages.
