In tabletop games there are totally collectors like this who don’t even play what most of what they buy and store

I think six million years of walking around looking for stuff to eat all day predisposes us to pick up interesting things we find on the ground, bite them a few times to see if they taste good, then carefully set them aside to look for more things.
