Today I went down a rabbit hole learning about this gorgeous 5ft girl, who was so successful writing songs at 17, she went to THE CARROLL SHELBY and demanded he sell her a Shelby Cobra. Then wrote a song about her car, and had another number one song on the charts!
She was close with Phil Spector, the Beach Boys and dated Elvis! Sung To Know him is to Love Him And she also co-wrote the Rocky movie theme, Gonna Fly Now! 💙😍💙
