Wow. full backdrop too. I wonder if it was created for the show or if they borrowed/leased it. I wonder what this show would have been able to do if they had the volume like Mandalorian uses. If it had today's tech. 😁

It’s the same background as Talos IV in The Cage. Pretty sure it was created for that and they were definitely going to get their money’s worth reusing it for the 2nd pilot.

DeForest Kelly did a lot of westerns before Trek. Would be doubly ironic, considering he wasn’t in The Cage or Where No Man Has Gone Before.
