Yeah but if you travel with two toddlers you don’t risk some crazy 🍊monkey to bend the rules so that you land in detention and your toddlers are left behind. End of the story we cancelled our plans to travel to the USA and visit #Ragbrai - time to proof they follow their own laws for the moment 🙄

Sure but "don't work on the VWP, either for cash or remuneration in kind" has been the law since the WVP was invented. Enforcement is stricter now, and the updated advisories reflect that. If it was actually dangerous for their citizens to visit the US, European governments would say so.
