Just SR flour salt milk and an egg with a TINY amount of butter rubbed into flour.. Mix ingredients and sprinkle more flour till a puffy dough. Boil golden syrup butter and water in a pot. Add dumplings to boiling syrup. Do not allow to go off the boil. Cover and cook maybe 10 mins. I go by look.
