For example, seems like sexual harassment was something a person could get away with back in the day. Probably just viewed as harmless macho man behavior. But I guess as harms became clear and feminism made progress this norm changed. I’m not complaining. Progress is good.
I actually just made up that anecdote. I don’t know this history at all and any accuracies were accidental. Anyway this is how I view antisemitism in the US today. It’s being tolerated at a level that we’ll later look back at, or future generations will, and it will make no sense to them.
