If you think a party ok with genocide, being seen as bad is “purity testing” then you reveal America was already sliding into fascism whether or not the right or liberals won.
You are not being intellectually honest. The left is not ok with genocide. You are simplifying something into a binary that can’t be won. Killing Palestinians is wrong, killing Israelis is wrong. Abandoning an ally is wrong. Letting Hamas kill is wrong. Your purity test will destroy our democracy.
We could take a lesson from the Repugnants on this. They are the most cobbled together group there is but they all agree to vote in lockstep to vote for whomever is going to get them what they want.
Yep. My article goes into it. The right just needs 1 thing to get a vote. The left seems to require them all. I wish we had them all, but if we use that standard we get nothing and lose everything over and over and over. We have to stop or democracy and any progress is done forever.

This is a confusing mess of ideas - Israel is committing a genocide on Gaza which the US current and past president supports. It’s simple but you’re trying to pretend otherwise.
Genocide is real, and it must be condemned. But turning it into a purity test fractures the only coalition strong enough to stop fascism. If “both parties are the same,” what’s the endgame? No democracy left to fight for, just ashes.
So what is your solution then? If my statement is confusing please enlighten us as to the solution here. Let Israel get destroyed? Destroy Palestine? Please tell us. Israel’s government is committing genocide so we abandon the people, or are you more of a Trump Gaza tower person. Glass house rocks
This is why "Vote Blue No Matter Who" applies to the general elections. We should use the primary period to pick out who best aligns with the national interests, then lock that shit in come November.
