Nah. Noind trick. Just his bog standard, tried and true mob boss bullying. They fear him more than than constituents. But thats less the case in the senate. Because they need to win entires stats, not just small gerrymandered hyperpartisan districts, the senate tends to swing a lot more moderate.
They absolutely could rubberstamp it, but for many, they arent sure or worse, know thst doing so means they lose their seat. If i were a betting man, my money would be on the bill failing, and being punted back for reconciliation. And with a LOT of notes for "corrections"
They really don't care. My two republican senators stopped answering their phones in February. They know the MAGA have brain damage and will vote for them regardless of how heinous they act.
But maga makes up only 1 in 5 americans. Which in most states, isnt enough to win on. Especially if theres strong negative turn out which is at this point, is all but assured to be.
Texas is a very backward state.

Some dont. You may be among the unlucky ones. but most do. Because they care about keeping their seats, and have the advantage of representing kansas or alabama. The only ones im aware of that buck this trend are from PA, and im pretty sure its because one is to arrogant to believe his seat is
vulnerable, and the other im pretty sure wont be finishing his term due to questions of mental fitness
