Yeah, along which lines would you even split? County by county? Even small counties can be a mix! Plus everywhere has kids, who shouldn’t be abandoned just because local adults did something dumb. People would get unfairly thrown under the bus no matter how you slice it

Yep. Exactly. Would you do it by the presidential election results per state? The governorship? The State House makeup? Nobody knows

Yup. You only have to look at when people (usually the British government, let's be real) have tried to split countries up to see how much it doesn't work. Pakistan/India, Cyprus, Ireland/NI, Israel/Palestine. Pretending you can split a country into two & no one will get screwed over is foolish 😔
