I mean many of us have tried. We had a huge “No Kings” protest. It’s our churches. They are cults here. Also we are 49th in education. I’m retired PS teacher…I’ve tried!!

A lot of blue-staters seem to think we deserve this. It's the United States, but they're happy to let us lie in the bed "we" made. Like poor education, gerrymandering, and voter suppression haven't been getting worse since BEFORE WE WERE BORN. FUCK.

Yes! I was raised rural OK, but my dad was military and college educated. I’ve lived in Norman and Edmond which are metropolitan and more purple.

What determines if a state is red or blue is the ratio of urban to rural areas. In Washington state the population in what's a relatively small land mass outmaths the rural areas. Texas has several blue megacities that are overwhelmed by rural areas the size of France.

Some states actually looking into this stated there would be expidited citizenship for blue state residents who want to leave. The current nation is not functioning. If billionaires don't have to pay taxes why should blue states be punished by carrying red states? Imagine education and healthcare!
