I get it.

I liken it to high tide. Although the waves keep coming, you can’t *see* them rise because the increase is so small. I, too, sometimes feel I will die before we reach the magic numbers to make a difference. Let’s hope the incoming rate exceeds the outgoing rate, for success.

Fortunately, it’s not about drowning. It’s hard to feel validated when we can’t see the effects of our efforts or when others don’t see the things that we do. I’ve had several come around, but it took great personal pain for them. Had to bite my tongue not to say “I told you so”. Just not the time.
