Limestone is crap. If I'm not mistaken, we don't even make it in the U.S., we import from China.

It depends on the stone; oddly enough, Mankato, MN (think Tim Walz; was my teacher) has a limestone quarry (Kasota Stone). There's a bunch of buildings in MN that are limestone/dolostone. It is so slippery when wet though, so not sure an event courtyard was the best idea.
But it's limestone plus!
I think he made it up, tbh.
Limestone plus glaze? Lord knows Trump likes a good glazing
Why do I suspect Urban Dictionary has a definition for "glazing"?
Actually, most of the capital limestone comes from Indiana. Or at least it used to.
Indiana is the capitol of limestone for the world.
Actually China makes the most limestone
So, the Great Builder would buy Chinese limestone instead of a stone quarried from our country?
I'm just saying. I googled it. And knowing Trump, probably. If he got a good deal on the price. Not that it matters, he doesn't pay his bills anyway, and everyone in New York knows it.
Please say this is just snark! Surely you know that the Lincoln Memorial and many other buildings in DC are made of Indiana limestone? You can still see the quarries, between Bloomington and Bedford.
Thank you for telling me. When I had the steps at my house replaced, the contractor said we import from China. But I just googled, and China is the largest producer of limestone. However, I opted for marble. I saw way too many homes in my nabe with huge cracks in the steps that were limestone.
😁 That was filmed there shortly after I graduated! A fave. 😃
