I feel your frustration and anger. The Democrats as elected office holders must use (and are using) the tools of the office to which we elected them. They can attend and hold rallies. They are speaking truth to power. They are trying to unmask la migra. They have limits of capability for now.👇
Citizens role at the moment is to call foul and seek peaceful redress of our grievances, determine when, how, where and whether to engage in civil disobedience and risk arrest or worse. Suffragettes were beaten. Blacks were beaten and killed. Gays and lesbians were beaten raped and sodomized. 👀📣
Citizens are being terrorized in the streets. Beaten, tear gassed, falsely arrested & detained. These ICE goons have already said under a recording by a citizen was that they will have to start shooting us soon. There will be a civil war if this continues.
Civil war is a possibility. It is not the most likely possibility, IMO. As John Lewis said, and I am paraphrasing, if you see someone's rights being violated, speak up, take action. I see people doing that where there are masked people kidnapping folk. I believe their actions/words are resistance.
It’s been so successful so far. Yes, that was sarcasm. Because it’s not stopping any of it. Some ICE agents have quit, but far too many enjoy what they are doing. We have to wait until US citizens are detained en masse. Then, it will be too late.
