UAE / Saudi Arabia: The Trump Org is expanding its presence in Dubai through a partnership with Dar Global, the international arm of Saudi Arabia's Dar Al Arkan. Their latest venture, Trump Tower Dubai valued at over $545 million, is a luxury development set to launch in 2025.
They're turning our entire system into a criminal enterprise. Perhaps this is the impetus for the new system we need to survive the next decades.
This is my hope... Folks often say re:climate, it has to get bad before people will act. Maybe this logic applies to democracy.

That IS my hope with respect to democracy (apparently we need a lesson in how stupid it is to choose anything else) - but frankly, that will not/does not work for climate. It does illustrate to me that people are clueless about climate, though. My sense we need to explain it better is confirmed :(
Yeah, in both cases... Once you've lost control, it's very hard to get it back. Waiting till its very bad is very brutal way to go... And likely doesn't work. I think we explained it a lot... Something else is needed. Pressure, numbers of people, consensus reality gatekeeper control...?
Apparently we are greatly missing Leadership. I've never been big on leaders, but that's just ignoring the fact that most people ARE... We need leaders at least for the crowd-collective of people who will have to change up all this, run the boycotts, spell out the possibilities - and disasters
I've been trying this... phew. it's hard. Was just this morning wondering if it wouldn't be better to only work with and agitate on people I don't know... :/
I'm not ready to agitate for anything - though i'm close, and there is some decent structure we could use to back it. It may be best for people like us - Big Picture cross-disciplinary types to know what we're agitating FOR: a new and better vision. Maybe all those truly interested should discuss
