I hope we get a blu ray commentary on this. It's a fantastic piece of work but very dense + challenging. Fully clarifying the plot, + narrative function of the periodic dream/fugue state sequences, etc would be illuminating. I would like to know more about what Cronenberg thinks Maury actually DID.

incidentally, congrats on the book. It looks very well done. Looking to buy a copy in the near future. Re shrouds: i wonder how many of the events of the film are a grief trauma response from ALL the main characters, not just Karsh. Maybe no non family members involved at all?

I also can't help but wonder if the open ended elements of the narrative are directly related to the genesis of the project as a streaming series. That said, the extreme open ended-ness is a positive, and helps differentiate Shrouds from most of the other cronenberg movies. challenging the audience.
