It turns out that the diminutive Beaver and the wetlands they create helps to fight forest fires. The clear minds of the USA are considering introducing them to places that haven’t seen on in more that a century with that in mind.

I was a volunteer Firefighter living in the country in Northern Ontario. Knowing where to find water was important. Our trapper in our Station knew the region best and could point towards available water in our whole Township. These guys make it look easy.

Its an heroic job to be a fire fighter especially in a warming world and all the dangers you face.
