Normally I rail against seasonal creep but I tried the same stuff you have in your fridge pic, from Athletic, last week and it was the taste of almost-real-beer that I really needed after a weekend doing traditionally beer-accompanied things Up North with just water. Most NAs don’t get that close.

It’s really good! Spouse knows I like it and brought some home when she saw it. I’ll take it when i can get it.

One thing that happened this summer is that the little fridge we keep upstairs that used to be used for breastmilk and midnight feedings is now a beverage fridge. Once the kids are put to bed I stay upstairs now if I can help it.

Favorite NA beer?

Guinness tastes the most like the original, the athletic ones are pretty good, especially the Oktoberfest.

I've dabbled in NA beers. I had one on a visit to San Diego that I really liked, the Rationale Hazy IPA. But I've never seen it out here.

This is very bougie but I can sit in the playroom and play PlayStation or watch x files and not go downstairs. Worth it.

The (excellent) Oktoberfest here in Indy is the first weekend of September and it doesn’t feel right to be hot at Oktoberfest

Naw man, it's cool. I'm already starting to decorate with Halloween stuff so as will the end of summer. It's called magic. More people should try it.
