The law is working as intended. Children are property, not people. That's the conservative world. Parents get to decide what to do with their property, no one else. Especially not the property itself.

That's also why mass shootings of grade-school age children never move the needle. Kids aren't human beings, so who cares if they have to die, in order to preserve the right to bear as many arms as possible? "Family Values" has always meant "fuck everyone else's kids."

GOP is busily destroying any protections for kids. Education. School lunches. Healthcare access. Vaccines. They’re even eliminating work restrictions restricting kids from dangerous jobs. Arkansas already had a child die in a meat packing plant, and another at a roofing job. Just disgusting.
