Federal registry. I live in California. I also haven’t been tested, they’re going off of self reporting. The manager couldn’t even tell me if I need like a state medical card or if a bullshit medical recommendation would work. Is this some sort of new change in law or is she an asshole?

There are still medical marijuana cards here in CA even though it’s legal. Allows you to grow, process, and use underage (basically) or to use if on probation, etc. I have never heard of a federal marijuana registry, don’t think that’s a thing.

Yeah, I used to keep a medical rec, haven’t bothered with it in years because it’s annoying to renew- there’s also the actual medical marijuana card, the practice manager couldn’t tell me which was even needed. (One is a much bigger pain to acquire)

Personally I’d just tell them you stopped smoking it.

Like idk about you, but I don’t particularly don’t want to be on any registry given the current administration.

Idk California's law regarding it. Sounds like judgement to me. If the meds conflicted that'd be a different story, however, she didn't state that. I would not go on any registry. The head of the snake has expressed admiration for Duterte.

Apparently my temp prescription I convinced her to fill to give me the time to figure out what to do got denied by my insurance, I’m on Medi-Cal until our new insurance kicks in (but have been and it hasn’t been an issue for the last year?) and I’m thinking this is because Medicaid changes :/

Sounds like the case. Too fasci for my liking. Insurance sucks. I've been in a battle with mine for the past 4 months. Now the shriveled apricot wants to put tariffs on medication.

Sounds like a judgmental butt to me. I don’t know California law but as a Maryland medical patient we don’t even apply to any “federal registry”. It’s federally a schedule 1 drug. There isn’t any registry for it to my knowledge? The day they require that of me, I will call and rescind my med card

I’d probably be bad and tell her I understand and that I will not smoke pot if that’s what she needs for the script. And just not tell her that you -didn’t- smoke pot. For that day or week! Lol. Isn’t any of her business what you do or don’t do. It’d be different if she said doing both had issues

Idk but she gave me a temp prescription for like ten days so I could at least function while I decide what to do and I just checked to see why it wasn’t getting filled and my insurer denied coverage for it. I’m on Medi-Cal until Chris’s new job’s insurance kicks in, but this wasn’t the policy before

Like if you were taking a benzo or an opioid, or something in the buprenorphine family. Hell, I could see hesitation with SSRIs or SNRIs just like with alcohol (amplifies the effects), but I had a military base doc refuse to give me more benzos - she told me to try cannabis (MD was med only then)
