My dear pets! They're never locked in except for when I have to go out and run errands. However, they like being close to their toys and food ✨️🩵✨️

Here’s my happy bird! He’s an albino European starling rescue. We named him Moby. #birds #nature #corvid #starling #albino
❤️
I just rewrapped Boo’s perches and now she’s sitting in her cage with no door, grinding her beak.
Beak grinding is so sweet. ❤️
Pretty birb.
She's such a sweetie 🥰💕
How precious!
🦜💜
💚 love seeing happy birbs.
Brings back memories
Happy, happy, joy, joy!
Sweet Rosie. Enjoy your new toy!
This is such a lovely video, I miss my birds so much
❤️🦜
They help us remember the simple pleasures.
I have Xfinity Wi-Fi which will not play your video no matter what I do. I thought they just blocked political videos, but I guess I used my phone too much today so they won't let me? I don't know.
I might love her ❤️
I’m biased. But she’s beyond cute.
Awww!! She’s so happy! Are there little treats in those holes?
No. They’re just destructable. I suppose I could push some in there.
We used to put a little peanut butter on a popsicle stick and dip them in bird seeds and feed our aunt’s parakeets so they’d let us hold them. I love parakeets 🥰
I just some of those and Miss Punkles just ignored them. Of course, she is 17 years old. Rosie is such a playful girl!
She’s 17 years old? Wow!!🤩
She's a Cock-a-squeal (Cockatiel), not a Budgie. Per google they live from 15-25 years in captivity. Her husband, who was a little prince, died at 15.
Awwww I like animals that live a long time. My friend has a Cockatoo and she had to put her in her will and leave her to one of her kids. Just in case bc she’s going to live so long. But it’s comforting to know you’ll have your friend for so long.
I, too, wish to have something to destruct. Her happy chirps are adorable!!
So adorable I've had birds nearly all my life. I have a Quaker Parrot she is 23 and she truly makes this home happy. She loves to hang out on my shoulder and watch TV with me and my husband. She also dances to music She loves the Stevie Ray Vaughan song: If The House is Rockin Don't Knocking.
Bahaha adorable!💖
SO HAPPY to know she is feeling well again. ❤️
Biblically accurate bird toys.
So cute. I had brother and sister finches. One died at 12 years recently and then his sister went too. So sad Sis
I'm sorry for your loss
Omg. Thank you. 😊 I still cry, plucky heard us mourning the loss of my cat kitty boy, he had been eaten the night before by a coyote. She already had lost her brother weeks earlier, and we lost my dog Pearl a few months before, she couldn’t take our sorrow and passed too. Maybe I will get over it.
💔💔💔
💐🔥💐🔥💐
I'm so sorry 😞 we love our furry friends 🧡
Our guys LOVE those orbs. Except initially when they freaked thinking those were tiny eyes looking at them!
Where do you buy yours?
just another caged living being owned as property ... I despise zoos as well ...😐
I love her. ❤️ Thank you for sharing
It appears that she's eating little ghost heads.
Hi cutie
She is a happy bird
🙂
It's lonely and caged 😞
They can be alone, even with cage covered @ night. I remember decades ago we’d let it out once in a while, it would fly around a bit. A hectic scene, we were worried about what would happen. Can’t remember how the heck we got it back in🙃😳🤷♂️
You don't always have a choice when you rescue a bird.
Omg my birbs would absolutely love one of those what is it? :Oc
I don't know how anyone takes pleasure in seeing a bird caged. No snark, just incredulous.
She is so cute! 🥰🥰 I am glad that she likes her new toy.
Budgies are the best! My little girl keeps my spirits up. Her favorite games include rocking back and forth in a half coconut shell and knocking every imaginable ball and bead we place on a shelf to the floor so she can fly down and play with them. Of course balsa wood is a must for the girls!
happy birb happy dance 💚
Is she lonely? Does she need a friend in there? (I don’t know much about birds.)
Budgies are happy little beings whether alone or in a crowd. If she gets another, Rosie will not like Joanne anymore.
Good one!!
What does the toy do? I made there seeds in the holes?
at one time in my early 20's I had 12 parrots and 1 budgie...the budgie learned more words and tricks than the macaws or cockatiels or my sulphur crested cockatoo as well as the conures
Budgies rock!
They’re so smart.
Wow...
yeah no it was bad...too many birds in my 1 bedroom place
Some cynics might say birds shouldn't be put in cages, but the way the world out there is going right now these birds have no clue how good they have it 🤪
That is pretty brave. My parakeets would freak out when I put a new toy in their cage.
Whatever you paid for that thing was worth it ten times over. :)
She's a tiny darling!
this is the birb you rescued, right? and wasn't there a digestive issue at some point? she's all better now?
Yes! She’s my rescue bird. She seems fine now. Though giving her medicine was really really not fun. Thanks for remembering!
Ah, mine was a rescue too. Flew up to my window in the middle of winter.
Bird distribution system at work!
💕
My parakeet loves that same toy and is on his third one.
One per…year🤔
He chewed through the first one in about a week. The second one took a couple of months.
🤣 A friend gave it to us—and she’s never had one, but LOVES it.
What are those orbs made from? They're very unique.
From the soft center of the Sola plant. That’s all I know!
Thank you. Many moons ago, I had a wooden bowl full of these as decor (read: dust collectors). I'm surprised my cockatiels & budgies didn't flock to them.
Where did you get the toy? I’d love to order one for my cockatiels.
Someone got it for me. I’m not sure where she got it. They’re sola balls, I think?
That’s a good start. Thank you!
does she have a little friend????? budgies are very social creatures
Birds in cages 🤦🏻♀️
I love birbs. I have seven of them. They gave me four eggs today.
Wow!
Sweet!
love this!
Great toy!
Yeah, my birds would be cowering in the corner for hours.
Here, a new toy is placed within eyesight of my bird. I wait a few days then put it on top of her cage. Wait more days & put it in the cage. She goes to the other side of the cage & avoids the "new predator that she's sure is going to eat her" for more days. Then millet around the toy draws her in.🦜
Awww. Such a sweetheart. My caique Jessie loves to destroy that sort of soft wood ball.
Nom Nom Nom!
So happy for both of you! She’s beautiful!
Thank you for sharing her happiness with us 🐦
I am picturing her in the near future swinging from the toy as she industrially dismantled one of the balls.
She knows that toy wasn't CHEAP CHEAP. I'm sorry. I couldn't help it. 🐦
Cute!😍
I used to have a budgie who was obsessed with bells. As long as his new toys had at least one bell on it, he was very happy. If there were no bells, he wouldn't touch the toy.
So sweet. I agree! For me, it’s my happy labrador Remington. He’s a life saver and my best buddy.
I guess I don’t speak bird, she seems irritated to me. Is it food?
No. It’s something to chew on and shred. A toy. Her irritated noises are very different!
She’s beautiful.
❤️
I don’t understand what it is.
Happy Budgie 😊 I had 2, and they were playful and smart.
Love
