Can someone please explain to me why Trump is against WIND energy? (I’m guessing it’s because he can’t make money off it?)

Fossil Fuels. He is putting into practice the 20+ year climate change denial argument that C02 isn't causing climate change, therefore wind turbines have no purpose in the energy map. Consequently they damage the environment and kill things. Thus you need to support American fossil fuels.

Wind is intermittent, highly variable, and not dispatchable. So it can be only an add-on to other, more reliable sources. And its low density means disproportionate materials and land/sea area requirements along with heavy-duty access roads and powerlines.
